This cemetery is located North of the West King Community in Wayne County.

Old Ramey Cemetery is an old, abandoned cemetery. An individual who has lived near it all of his life says, 'There are no Ramey's in it." He said that at one time there were nine tombstones in it. He also said that some had dates as old as 1700's. I assume that these dates were birth dates. I found two headstones:

W. M. Graham
Son of E. & N. Graham
b. Sept. 1, 1870
d. July 5, 1884

I. A.
Daughter of E. & N. Graham
b. Nov. 28, 1881
d. June 19, 1884

These children belonged to Baron's gg-grandfather and -mother, Elbert D. Graham and Nancy L. Woodward Graham. Leaving out living individuals, my line is as follows:

Baron Brady Graham b. 1918 in MS
Robert (Bob) Graham b. 1886 in MS
Elbert D. Graham b. 1847 in MS
Alexander Graham b. 1806 in NC
Zachariah Graham b. 1765 in NC

I believe that Alexander and Zachariah are both buried in this cemetery, but I have no proof. I do know that Alexander died within 1.5 miles of the cemetery.

Thank you,
Baron A. Graham, Jr.
